How to Free Up 10 Minutes a Day in Business and Life
In this episode of the Real Estate Growth Hackers Show, Gabe Hagstrom joins me and shares six ways for you to free up your time by connecting your different tools and applications together. And together with automations in place, you can have more time to focus on generating profits or simply gaining back more time to share with your family.
Here is a rundown on everything we talked about today:
Bridging the DIstance Between Your Apps and Tools
In today’s modern digital world, it is common for people to use some sort of digital component. Now, Gabe Hagstrom and his team specialize in connecting these different tools and making them communicate with each other.
This means, when users are doing something in one platform they can affect another platform automatically. Gabe’s ApiNation bridges that distance between different platforms and tools.
“If you look at the applications as employees then normally you have about 15 employees. The way they currently work is that none of them talk to each other,” explained Gabe.
That means that if you had all those people working for you but none of them shared information with each other, then it only makes things harder to get done. ApiNation connects your apps together and lowers their partitions.
Gabe explained further, “For better or worse, we create the ‘Open Office’ plans so that your tools can all bump into each other, share information, and collaborate. This allows all your tools to fulfil their intended purposes without business owners micromanaging every single one of them.
Saving Time by Syncing CRM Leads
Gabe’s first tip on saving 10 minutes of your time is syncing your CRM to your phone. For our listeners who are starting at ground zero, CRM is your Customer Relationship Management app. That app keeps track of all your leads and contacts. Some of these CRMs will even remind you of meetings, people to call, and most of them can even send emails for you.
CRMs are like the hub for any Real Estate Agent and for a lot of businesses as well.
Now, there might be times where you might not be in your office and you do not have access to a computer. In these cases, it is vital that you have your list of contacts—all those leads—available in your phone.
Right now, agents have to copy and paste those people into their phone. Or worse, agents get a call from clients and not have the caller ID show up on their phone and they’d have to figure out who the person is on the other line, it can be time consuming.
Gabe suggested, “Leverage the data you feed to your CRM and connect all that information into your phone.”
This way, when you are out and about—as a Real Estate Agent would inevitably be—you can just text, email, or call any of your contacts and their details will show up.
