A System that Leverages the Power of YouTube’s Algorithm
In this episode of the Real Estate Growth Hackers Show, Aaron Biblow and Triston Goodwin join me to share how they’ve created a system that capitalizes on making YouTube work and how people in the real estate space are able to use Youtube marketing to leverage their businesses.
The Fly Wheel System crafts a customized “Self-filling” video funnel for your offer, optimized to take advantage of YouTube’s learning neural network and Google’s massive customer database.
Here is a rundown on everything we talked about today:
The Impetus of the Video Flywheel Concept
Most people on YouTube are doing one of two things right. They’re either doing a really good job of attracting eyeballs or they’re really good at converting. But a lot of them aren’t doing both without damaging their channel. This means that YouTube wants people to stay on the platform to see more videos, see more ads so that YouTube will have more money.
In the end, a lot of people who are advertising on YouTube organically kill their reach by sending people off of YouTube, or on some of their biggest videos, and then those videos get buried. What it really comes down to is that English people aren’t playing nice with the algorithm, because if you give the algorithm what it wants, it gives you what you want.
Setting up Video Funnels that Drive Sales
The idea of the Video Flywheel is that they create a sales funnel with the videos that they’re uploading and optimizing. They set those up and connect them in a way that causes YouTube to promote the videos more often because they’re extending the watch times and session times. Giving YouTube what it wants, also giving them more views and more opportunities to show ads. And then at the very end, they are isolating individual videos, which would be like a call to action.
The good thing about setting up these sales funnels and having the videos linked together is that people start to have a little bit more confidence and trust because now it’s not just watching one random video on YouTube. They’ll see that the video was good and they’re going to watch this next video because it also talks about something that they need, it talks about another problem that they have. And then that goes on through a chain until they’re ready to buy from you or take some form of conversion action.
